I don’t know what it is, but I love watching Escalator fails! This one looks like it’s in slow motion…but it isn’t. Just a really slow progression to epic escalator failure. Source – JJ.am Pin It

Above you can see a new rendering of the Samsung Galaxy S III that we should see later this year. This one has a dedicated Home button similar to the Galaxy S II, and two softtouch buttons on either side of it. The screen is said to be a 4.8 inch SuperAMOLED Plus HD screen. Other specs we should see include a 12 megapixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p HD videos, a 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos processor and a full ceramic body rather than the thin plastic we are used to seeing on the Galaxy S devices previous.
Adding to the hype of looking at the next best thing to the iPhone 4S, Samsung’s Chief Executive in China Kim Young-Ha made comments that the Galaxy S III would be arriving in April 2012, rather than May which is the current rumor. He did not specify where it would launch in April, but perhaps it will launch in Samsung’s homeland of Korea first, then make it’s way to North America in May. Either way, we’re supposed to hear about the official launch dates over Samsung’s Twitter page first, and anything

I sure hope I don’t look like that when I’m trying to get my groove on. It’s rather scary…I’m going to have nightmares tonight of this… I just know it!
There’s no question that the Apple iPad 3rd generation is the hottest piece of technology to come out in 2012. Just how hot is it in the eyes of consumers? Were there rumblings of people who were unimpressed with Apple’s latest gadget witchery? It doesn’t appear that way, as shipments are being delayed and moved back from the demand.
If you were to go to Apple’s online store and check out a new iPad, you’ll see (as shown above) that the shipping date is set for March 19th as opposed to the original launch shipping date of March 16th. This is due to the new iPad selling like ‘Hot Cakes’! That is certain to spell out success for Apple as the initial supplies for launch day have been sold out.
The question now is can Apple keep the supply up with the demand? There were earlier concerns that the high resolution 2048 x 1536 Retina display was already in short supply. The demand won’t be cooling off anytime soon either.

The Apple iPad 3rd Generation (iPad 3) has taken the world by storm. The latest release by Apple in their tablet family has been a huge success. Reports are already coming in that Apple needs to start moving the March 16th shipping dates for Pre-orders back to the 19th of March. Demand is certainly high, and there’s no question it’s mainly due to the pricing.
The new iPad (3rd generation) is now the same price as what the iPad 2 was during its’ year long reign at the top. Starting at $499 US and working up to $829, one has to under just how Apple was able to pack so many goodies and keep the price the same.
In a new report on the Wall Street Journal, UBM TechInsights has it priced out that the new iPad costs Apple 51%. For example, they estimate that a 16GB Wi-Fi + 4G/LTE model retailing for $629 US would cost Apple $310 to manufacture. The iPad 2 was a 56% profit, making the 3rd generation iPad a 5% loss in profit margin from the iPad 2. The main factor for the difference in profit margin appears to be the 2048 x 1536 Retina display at a cost of $70 per iPad. The iPad 2 display cost around $49. Another slight factor is the A5X processor over the A5 in the iPad 2, with a difference of $6 against Apple’s profits.
Will this affect Apple’s next earnings release call in April? It all comes down to how many iPad 3rd generation tablets they can move by then.

It’s only a matter of a couple short weeks before we should hear what’s to be the next generation iPad from Apple. Until we actually hear the official announcement however, we need to get what we can from all the news stories of uncovered images and leaked iPad 3 parts.
In the image above, we can see that the red arrows are pointing to mounting tabs and brackets seen on displays made by Sharp. This adds to the rumors that Sharp will be the supplier for the Apple iPad 3 Retina display sporting 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. Eye Lab Factory is credited for obtaining this image seen above, but it should go with a word of caution that the images obtained may in fact be from an early model of iPad 2, rather than a new iPad 3.
All that taken into consideration however, the display’s fitting into the backpanel shows that there may be a slight increase of 1mm in thickness to the iPad model shown, which coincides with earlier reports of the iPad 3 being a little thicker to make way for all of the upgraded parts being launched.
