New iPads Sold Out, Now Shipping March 19th

There’s no question that the Apple iPad 3rd generation is the hottest piece of technology to come out in 2012. Just how hot is it in the eyes of consumers? Were there rumblings of people who were unimpressed with Apple’s latest gadget witchery? It doesn’t appear that way, as shipments are being delayed and moved back from the demand.

If you were to go to Apple’s online store and check out a new iPad, you’ll see (as shown above) that the shipping date is set for March 19th as opposed to the original launch shipping date of March 16th. This is due to the new iPad selling like ‘Hot Cakes’! That is certain to spell out success for Apple as the initial supplies for launch day have been sold out.

The question now is can Apple keep the supply up with the demand? There were earlier concerns that the high resolution 2048 x 1536 Retina display was already in short supply. The demand won’t be cooling off anytime soon either.
